What We Do
Each month we provide food. This includes rice, lentils, oil, vegetables and eggs. The medicine is mainly to dress their wounds which can become easily infected.

Recently in addition to the above we have purchased pots and pans as we realised through a conversation with the community that they only had a couple of pots for 25 of them. We have also provided plant pots so they can grow their own vegetables, electricity for some of the buildings and also for an outside toilet, a door for the outside toilet. One of the residents who suffers terribly as she has no hands had just one nighty which is all she had to wear, so we purchased some more nighties. We are in the process of buying sweaters for them as it now gets cold in India. In March we provided funds for a water tank and taps to be installed. The community prior to this had to walk across the road to a water tap which was difficult and sometimes impossible for them to use due to their injuries.

We are in the process of providing them with a music system. The only music that they get to hear is when wedding parties go past the compound. Most of them haven't heard music since childhood and they love music and love to dance.
Its Offical
We are now a charity! It took a while as our application was turned down a few times because of technical reasons but the team hung on in there and made it happen. This means that peoples donations can be topped up via gift aid.
